Overview
1. On January 6, the second week of Operation Cast Lead, the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center issued a background study dealing with the use made by Hamas of the Gazan civilian population as human shields. Since the study was issued, additional reports were received from the battlefield and published as separate information bulletins or appendices to the daily updates posted during the operation. Most of the bulletins have already been translated into English and other languages. The ITIC has additional raw material (including visual material) which will be processed and issued in the coming weeks.
