On November 5, 2018, Hamas’s senior official Ismail Radwan held a speech during a demonstration that accompanied the weekly mini-flotilla in the Gaza Strip. Radwan said in his speech that the “return marches” and the flotillas would be carried on until they achieve their goals, mainly the complete lifting of the “siege” on the Gaza Strip, the realization of the “right of return,” and the elimination of the “century deal” (of the United States).

Jews, Israel and Peace In the 2017/18 Palestinian Authority Schoolbooks for Grades 11 and 12: A Complementary Study

This study completes a four-year research activity, in which over 364 schoolbooks for grades 1-12 that were published by the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the years 2013-2018 were examined. The goal of that research project was checking the attitude to the Israeli-Jewish "other" and to the possibility of solving the conflict with that "other" peacefully in the spirit of the peace agreements, that were signed by the two parties in 1993-1995. The present study covers 45 books published in 2017-2018 for grades 11 and 12 in the various streams.

The “Return March” and propaganda events in the Gaza Strip

Like every Friday (since March 30, 2018), the “return march” took place on Friday, September 7, 2018. Events on the recent march were more violent than those of recent weeks. Several thousand rioters, operating in several locations along the security fence, participated in the march. The Supreme National Authority of the Return March called on the public to participate in the next march on Friday In addition, the Supreme National Authority announced its intention to expand the protest activities

The Flotilla to the Gaza Strip (Update No. 1)

Three flotilla boats have set sail to the Gaza Strip: on July 21, 2018, the al-Awda left the port of Palermo, Sicily; on July 22, 2018, the Huriya and Falestine also set sail. There are about 40 passengers on board (Freedom Flotilla Coalition Facebook page, July 22 and 23, 2018). The fourth boat, the Mairead, did not set sail because of what was described as crew issues.
