An examination of the new textbooks issued by the PA shows they continue expressing, and in some instances by radicalizing, the same basic principles that appeared in previous textbooks: the delegitimizing of the State of Israel, demonizing the State of Israel, encouraging violence against it and an absence of education for peace. The books, which are strongly hostile to Israel and the Jewish people, are also used by UNRWA-run school, half of whose budget is devoted to education

A “flotilla” of three small boats has begun its voyage to the Gaza Strip, expected to arrive around the end of July 2018, having conducted a propaganda tour of several European ports

Three small boats of the flotilla to the Gaza Strip set sail on July 21 and 22, 2018, and are expected to arrive around the end of July. Before they left for the Gaza Strip they conducted a series of propaganda visits to various European ports. The flotilla's objective is to help the Palestinian propaganda campaign that accompanies the "return marches" by raising awareness to the demand to lift the "siege" on the Gaza Strip.

The July 6, 2018, Friday "return march" was attended by only a few thousand Gazans. One of them was killed when a hand grenade exploded, In the wake of continuing arson terrorism, Israel decided to close the Kerem Shalom crossing on July 9, 2018. in Judea and Samaria two shooting attacks were carried out this past week.

The Flotilla to the Gaza Strip – Update for May 24, 2018

On May 20, 2018, a flotilla to the Gaza Strip set off from Norway. The flotilla is organized by two umbrella organizations engaged in dispatching flotillas to the Gaza Strip as part of the campaigns to “break the siege” on the Gaza Strip (“Freedom Flotilla Coalition” and the “International Committee for Breaking the Siege of Gaza”). The flotilla includes four boats which are expected to reach Gaza by late July 2018.

Following the events of the Great Return March, anti-Israeli activists in Europe are trying to organize a flotilla to the Gaza Strip (initial report)

Concurrently with the events of the Great Return March, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, an umbrella framework of organizations engaged in sending flotillas to the Gaza Strip, announced that preparations were being made to send a flotilla to “break the siege” over the Gaza Strip (Al-Aqsa, April 15, 2018). The flotilla, which numbers several boats (currently four or five), is expected to depart for the Gaza Strip from several European countries (Twitter, PalInfo, April 9, 2018).

News of Terrorism and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (March 14 – 20, 2018)

This past week two deadly terrorist attacks were carried out killing a civilian and two IDF soldiers. In the northern Gaza Strip a number of IEDs exploded near the border security fence. Preparations continue for the "great return march.
